Going back to my first WBNB comparison in this thread, above is LNR's price since the migration, with WBNB's transition from 6-month high to 6-month low drop on the red line. During that time (again, as we were transitioning to a DAO), LNR's price went from $0.065 to $0.03. That drop roughly corresponded with WBNB's 66% value drop and was not indicative of Lunar's performance as a company at all. Our ability to ride WBNB back up was thwarted in January by a small group of people unwinding their positions. So yes, our price has been relatively flat in the last 4 months while BNB has trended upwards from it's 6-month low... we have been surviving the bear well and are poised to make a healthy return.

Your occasional reminder that a token we have no control over decides 90% of our fate around here. WBNB dropped 50% in value between it's 12 month high and it's 6 month low on 16 December 2022. WBNB's last transition from 6 month high to six month low happened between 4 Nov and 16 December... the exact same time we transitioned to a DAO. During that time the price of WBNB went from $354 USD to $230 USD, and that decline over 6 weeks was second only to the decline that happened 6 months prior. During that decline, WBNB went from $401 on 4 May 2022 to $197 on 18 Jun 2022... just 6 weeks later. That 1 year low was basically right when we were doing our NFT launch. Had people who considered themselves "investors" done their research and stayed through that cycle instead of panicking, our MC would be a lot higher right now. But it is what it is.

An update for everyone on the DAO voting issue we've been dealing with on Snapshot. We've traced the problem to their ERC-721 "strategy" we use to calculate NFT voting power, which is now failing where it didn't before. Digging into the code, there are a number of issues that need to be addressed, including why the blockchain is suddenly failing "multicall" requests. I'm working on rewriting the strategy now and hope to have it working shortly. In the meantime, I've submitted a pull request to their main library that will likely cut the response time for ALL blockchain requests on Snapshot in half, through response compression. You can read more about it here. Both pull requests will have to be reviewed and accepted before we will be able to get voting back up and running, which is likely still a few days out. Often, delivering the best experience for the Lunar Ecosystem means learning other people's code and fixing their mistakes. I'll keep you folks posted as the process continues, so we can get the Marketing LIP up for a vote. Thanks for your patience and for being a supporter of Lunar DAO!

So we got a piece of not awesome (but also not unexpected) news today: We did not make the Binance MVB 6 program. They had over 1500 applications and only took like 10-15. So the odds were not in our favor to begin with. The good news is it frees us up to attempt to work with them in other ways, and the wheels for that are already in motion.
