Hey everyone! Congratulations to all on a successful token migration. The entire team did an outstanding job of making this one of the smoothest migrations for holders the space has seen. Special thanks to Shepard who, for the second time now, has written one of the best smart contracts in blockchain history. We’ll be posting the new contract audit soon so you folks can see this for yourselves. We’ve received a number of tickets over the past few days from holders who received a balance of new LNR that is not exactly equivalent to the 1:10M new token supply ratio. To clarify, this 1:10M ratio was shared in regards to the total supply of LNR. Holder airdrops were to be distributed at a greater or equivalent value (not necessarily quantity) to everyone’s original LNR holdings. With this in mind, we baked a margin for error into the new token value to account for any minor discrepancies in the quantity of new tokens received. Thus, virtually all holders received their new LNR holdings at a greater or equivalent value as promised. However, there might still be some folks who were affected disproportionately to other holders, and we want to make sure everyone is taken care of. If you believe you were affected disproportionately, first send your V1 LNR (the old version) to the wallet address below so we can verify balances: 0x6FE38A7c89F263D2D31093EA55aF7F8fA0062c2D Then, create a ticket in Discord that includes both the transaction hash and your wallet address. MIGRATION UPDATE: Hey Lunar Crew! The Beta tests have passed with flying colors, and we're currently preparing the Production deployment of our rigorously tested and incredibly thorough LNR v2 Upgradeable Smart Contract. At the same time, we’re also working to get all of the Centralized Exchanges pointed to the new contract and align everything for the migration window. Our plan for the last several weeks was to open the migration window today. However, the concerns I mentioned in my earlier update have now come to pass. The challenge at this point is that Space Man and Mr. Moonshot are now 100% in the path of this hurricane. We need to plan for the real likelihood that a wide swath of Florida is going to be without power at some point over the next several days. If we were to begin the migration under these conditions, we would take on the risk of losing power/internet at a critical moment in the migration process. The last thing we want to do is start a process that will put the contract in a bad state if it can't be finished. So after careful deliberation, we’re ready to share our updated migration timeline. THE PLAN: We will continue with our deployment of the Production contract, so the Dev Team can meet our delivery schedule as originally planned. To account for the hurricane and its aftermath, we are tentatively setting the migration window to open on Monday, October 3rd at 12pm EST. At that point we will begin our migration steps: - Verify that trading on all centralized exchanges has been paused - Confirm that all centralized exchanges have the updated contract address - Pause the LNR v1 contract - Move the liquidity pool and verify all settings are correct - Export the token holder data - Unpause the LNR v2 contract for purchases through PancakeSwap, PooCoin, etc. - Convert the existing token holders to the new ratio (Your holdings / 10,000,000) - Airdrop the new tokens to all existing holders The migration window will close on Wednesday, October 5th at 12pm EST. However, our goal will be to finish the airdrop within 24 hours of moving the liquidity pool. These dates will be subject to change based on the situation on the ground. If it takes longer than 5 days to get power and internet back up where the leadership team lives, we may have to move the window again. MIGRATION UPDATE Good morning folks, and happy Monday. As @MrMoonshotLNR mentioned, our first round of Beta testing on the MainNet was virtually flawless, and we have another (potentially final) round starting shortly. We are right on track for our release schedule, and once Beta testing clears, we'll start communicating the potential migration window and our migration steps. We currently still expect that to happen this week. However, there is a new and growing threat to that timeline in the form of Hurricane Ian. It's on its way to Florida right now, and 100% of the Blockchain team (including our contract auditor) is inside the "cone" of probability for the predicted path. Hurricanes mean power outages, which may limit the team's internet access and ability to execute steps in the transition. That means there is a non-zero chance the migration could be delayed for reasons outside our control. Understand that we're not going to start a migration process we can't finish in short order, because that affects the entire ecosystem. If things don't go our way in terms of the weather, I hope you all remember that Lunar is a people-first organization, and that our primary concern is for the physical safety of our team, holders and their families. We'll be assessing the risk as the US National Hurricane Center updates its predictive models, and we'll keep you in the loop as decisions are being made. Quick update on Beta testing: Everything works absolutely perfectly on the new contract on main net. Testing will continue over the next couple of days while our centralized exchange listings begin prepping everything on their end for the migration.

Popping in for a minute. I have been testing the contract on the test net all night and it has been absolutely flawless thus far, not a single issue. We will be deploying the contract under a random name tomorrow on the main net where I will then test all liquidity pool functions as well. The process is nearing completion and I couldn't be happier with this smart contract's performance🔥

MIGRATION UPDATE Hey Lunar Crew! By the time you read this, the LNR 2.0 contract will be deployed to our Alpha environment. We have been deep in testing all week on this contract, and we have over 150 automated unit tests for this release. We were able to hit 96% code coverage on BOTH our ERC-721 and ERC-20 contracts. The image above comes straight out of our code coverage suite. We're starting from an amazing point here, and will only get better over time. Testing continues tomorrow. Hey everyone! We want to give everyone an update on the ship schedule for the next few weeks. First and foremost, the long-awaited Migration is proceeding as scheduled, and at this time we still expect that to take place before the end of the month. The last unfinished task item on the roadmap for Q3 quarter was Staking. In addition to having to unscheduled work to support our efforts at NFT Expoverse, we had to do extra research on the ERC-20 contract to make sure we support the necessary router interfaces moving forward. We have a finite number of resources, and both of those things had an affect on the development schedule. I want to remind everyone that the roadmap is a guideline for the community on the work we're focused on, it is NOT a set of hard-and-fast release dates. What we focus on is subject to change based on priorities on the ground. Given the option of delaying all aspects of the Migration OR just pushing back Staking to the next sprint, we chose the latter. The entire point of an Upgradeable Smart Contract is that we can add features to it over time, so it doesn't make sense to delay because of a feature that is not mission-critical for the contract to go live. I understand that some people may be disappointed by this, but the Migration is too important to the future of this project to not give it 100% of our focus right now. Fixes - We fixed the issue where your wallet balance showed negative and prevented you from purchasing NFTs if you had more then 10 BNB in your wallet Enhancements - We added language to show how much BNB to need to add to your wallet to get the requested # of NFTs (not just the max you can buy) - We improved some messaging as you move through the minting process - We adjusted the UI when a transaction completes to have a better information flow - We do a better job tracking which NFT IDs you were issued Details The backstory behind this is that the Metamask provider we picked used the wrong datatype for balances, so balanced greater than about 9.3 BNB "overflowed" the .NET datatype it was using. We moved to BigInteger support for balances and transaction amounts, and changed how PlexusScan is storing the transaction data behind the scenes. We're already plotting out our next set of features in support of the Lunar Award NFTs and the ERC-20 token migration. The team is working on specing out the next 30-45 days worth of development work. This includes finishing up work for the migration, LNR staking, NFT staking, and the Lunar app front end. The LNR and NFT staking will be the first features that people will be able to use within the app front end that looks and feels like the app we've been teasing. Simultaneously, we'll be taking the work we did on Plexus and the various aspects of the backend for the NFT mint app (multi-step transaction processing, wallet connections, accounts, etc.) and expanding that architecture to start handling dex trades on a single chain. This dex trades component will take some time for us to make absolute certain that people's crypto is kept safe. Beyond that point, we're looking at cross-chain bridges, including an LNR bridge and stable coin bridge between BSC and Ethereum. (I can explain the benefit of having both bridges if someone wants) Once the bridges are working, we then take the work we did for dex trades on BSC, apply that to Ethereum, then wire up Plexus with the cross-chain bridges and dex trading on both chains to allow for seamless multi-chain transactions. By then we plan to have another product team starting to work on the native Lunar wallet and true omni-wallet functionality. Hope you can now see the progression of how it all starts to come together!

Alright, time to address this issue. I've seen several different definitions of Layer 1 vs Layer 2 networks, and all of them suck, quite frankly (which is not surprising). The two most common elements I have seen define a Layer 1 network are: 1) Can it perform transactions on its own? 2) Does it have a scalability mechanism? In my research, using its own native currency is NOT a requirement that makes or breaks an L1 chain. Based on those two requirements, Plexus is an L1 chain. - It can perform transactions 100% on its own, without the need for another chain. The first use case we have does require another chain, but behind the scenes we have an EVM-compatible ledger backing the process that is self-sufficient. - Once our JSON-RPC implementation is complete, you will be able to connect MetaMask *directly* to Plexus to trigger commands and transactions natively, exposing that native transaction capability (which is currently private) to the public. - It has a type of Sharding protocol, backed by Azure Storage Queues, to let it scale infinitely. Right now, each node completes work individually, in a similar fashion to the NEAR protocol. At some point in the future, we will augment that protocol with a PoX mechanism to let more than one node complete the same work and decide how to handle the results. Now, people can quibble over specifics if you want, as you folks need to have something to talk about on a daily basis. But that is how we're thinking about it, and until there is a formal standards body that certifies Layer 1 vs Layer 2 chains, or new information comes to light about requirements we're not presently aware of, that's how we're going to communicate the Plexus ecosystem.
