MIGRATION UPDATE:
Hey Lunar Crew! The Beta tests have passed with flying colors, and we're currently preparing the Production deployment of our rigorously tested and incredibly thorough LNR v2 Upgradeable Smart Contract. At the same time, we’re also working to get all of the Centralized Exchanges pointed to the new contract and align everything for the migration window.
Our plan for the last several weeks was to open the migration window today. However, the concerns I mentioned in my earlier update have now come to pass.
The challenge at this point is that Space Man and Mr. Moonshot are now 100% in the path of this hurricane. We need to plan for the real likelihood that a wide swath of Florida is going to be without power at some point over the next several days.
If we were to begin the migration under these conditions, we would take on the risk of losing power/internet at a critical moment in the migration process. The last thing we want to do is start a process that will put the contract in a bad state if it can't be finished.
So after careful deliberation, we’re ready to share our updated migration timeline.
THE PLAN:
We will continue with our deployment of the Production contract, so the Dev Team can meet our delivery schedule as originally planned.
To account for the hurricane and its aftermath, we are tentatively setting the migration window to open on Monday, October 3rd at 12pm EST. At that point we will begin our migration steps:
- Verify that trading on all centralized exchanges has been paused
- Confirm that all centralized exchanges have the updated contract address
- Pause the LNR v1 contract
- Move the liquidity pool and verify all settings are correct
- Export the token holder data
- Unpause the LNR v2 contract for purchases through PancakeSwap, PooCoin, etc.
- Convert the existing token holders to the new ratio (Your holdings / 10,000,000)
- Airdrop the new tokens to all existing holders
The migration window will close on Wednesday, October 5th at 12pm EST. However, our goal will be to finish the airdrop within 24 hours of moving the liquidity pool.
These dates will be subject to change based on the situation on the ground. If it takes longer than 5 days to get power and internet back up where the leadership team lives, we may have to move the window again.
Thanks for everyone’s patience as we deal with some unforeseen circumstances, and we’re excited to bring this long-awaited migration to a close.
